As a TotalTrip user, you have control over all of your customer's travel plans. We know that you wish to continue to have control of your customer's personal information as well. As pioneers of online travel, we are also aware that gaining and retaining your trust is vitally important and that it is a responsibility that we take very seriously every day.

This is why we make available to you the Privacy Policy that sets out our conduct regarding the collection, use and protection of the personal information of those who use the TotalTrip website. Personal information means information that is linked to a particular person, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail and credit card number.

We invite you to review and familiarize yourself with our Privacy Policy, but it is important that you know that we do not sell or rent to third parties the personal information of our customers or our customers' passengers.

Please note that we review our Privacy Policy from time to time, and in accordance with that review, we may make changes to the document. Therefore, you may want to check this page and/or periodically review it, to make sure you have the updated version.

¿What personal customer information does TotalTrip collect and how is it used?

When you browse or access our site, some personal information is collected, that information may include: Name, Last Name, Travel Agent ID, PCC, e-mail, Phone, Travel Agent name and Agency.

This information is collected for a number of reasons including: (i) personal identification; (ii) to finalize hotel bookings; (iii) in order to communicate with you and/or your customers for the purpose of serving them, if necessary; (iv) To personalize the content of our site to meet your needs; (v) to make product improvements on our site. In addition, we need your email address to notify you and/or confirm each booking you make on our site.

If we know that person, we do not allow the use of the site of children under the age of eighteen years old, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children (under the age of thirteen). A valid travel agency credit card will be required in order to make an instant purchase on our site.

To Make a Purchase

In order to purchase travel and services related to these trips, through our site, you must give us certain personal information of the passenger or passengers such as: name, telephone number and e-mail address. We may ask you for other personal information, such as frequent flyer numbers, date of birth. We require this information to be able to process, complete and confirm your reservations, transactions and to keep you informed of the status of each transaction made. When using our site it´s necessary that every passenger agree, in advance, with the possibility that you share your personal information to us.

For security reasons, TotalTrip does not store information about credit cards. For this reason, every time the agency user makes a transaction, they must re-enter the credit card details. All other personal information is collected and stored on servers physically located in Colombia. TotalTrip may relocate these servers to any other country, in the future and may store personal information in Argentina or other countries for backup purposes.

Partner Registration

As a registered user, you are authorized to generate reservations on our site. The information we collected when you browse our site, such as travel agent name, mailing address, travel agency phone and email address, Travel Agent ID, serves as the only login, password, validation data and as a help to assist you in remembering your password. As a TotalTrip user, we will occasionally send you rate reduction updates in your area, special offers, new TotalTrip services, and other points of interest. However, at any time, you can choose that you do not wish to continue receiving this kind of messages by e-mail. User Profile

The User Profile of our site takes your data, this information is mainly used to help you make quick reservations without having to enter the same information multiple times. For example, our site will show you bookings you have previously made, based on the information you have stored about the user.

Automatic Login to Session Data

Automatically, we make generic registration of information about your computer's Internet connection, we call it "session data" and it is done anonymously, not linked to any personal information. The data in a session is for example the IP address, operating system and type of software used to navigate, as well as the activities carried out by the user during the time he is on our site. An IP address is a number that allows you to connect the computer to the Internet, know how our web servers return data to the user, such as the pages that the site user asks to see. We collect session data because this helps us do point analysis such as: what topics visitors prefer to enter, how they are entering when they are on site, how many visitors are moving from one page to another on the site, how long visitors are staying on the site, and how often they are visiting it. It also help us diagnose problems with our servers and allow us to better manage our systems. Although this information does not identify any visitors itself, it is possible to determine from an IP address, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the approximate geographic location of your endpoint.

The use of "cookies" is very common on the Internet and Total Trip’s use of them is similar to that of sites such as Travelocity, Expedia and Orbitz, as well as Yahoo!, and other renowned companies that are on the network.

First of all, you can be sure that the TotalTrip website does not collect or store any personal information from you or your customers in the "cookies" and, as a result, none can be passed to third parties.

Cookies allow us to serve you better and be more efficient, as well as personalize your experience on our site.

Most browsers automatically accept "cookies". Of course, by changing the options in your browser or when using certain software, it´s possible to control your browser's acceptance of cookies and how much you will do so. TotalTrip supports the right that you have to block any Internet activity that you do not wish to have, especially those on unscrupulous websites. However, blocking TotalTrip "cookies" may disable certain features on our website and it may be impossible to purchase or use certain services available on the site. Please note that it is possible to block the activity of "cookies" from certain websites, and that at the same time you can allow "cookies" from sites you trust, such as TotalTrip.


From time to time we may add or extend services available on the site. To the extent these services are provided to you, and you use them, we will use that information you provide to us to facilitate the requested service. ¿Who (if anyone) will the traveler's personal information be shared with?

When you book or purchase travel services through TotalTrip, we must provide certain personal information from your customers to the travel agency and other travel providers or third parties involved in the process to enable your customer's travel arrangements to be successful. We may also share personal information among our corporation's affiliates at Netactica Holdings Corporation. However, we do not sell or rent individual customer names or other personal information to third parties. We do not collectively use non-personal information that can be identified to obtain better quality and more useful online services by statistical analysis of the joint characteristics and behaviors of our customers and visitors, measuring demographic factors and interests, in relation to specific areas of our site. Based on this data, we are likely to provide anonymous statistical information to current and potential suppliers, advertisers, affiliates and other business partners. We may also use this collective data to inform these third parties about the number of people who have observed and entered links to their websites. From time to time TotalTrip will hire a third party to work on our behalf in projects such as market research surveys and processes involving the entry of data for contests, and will provide information to these third parties specifically to be used in connection with these projects. The information we give to such third parties will be protected by a confidentiality agreement and will be used only to complete that specific project. All agency, travel agent and traveler information that you provide to TotalTrip is transmitted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted system. SSL is a proven encrypted system, which allows your browser to automatically encrypt, or mix data before sending it to us.

¿What other information should I know about my rights to privacy?

TotalTrip may contain links to other websites. Please note that when you enter one of these links, you are doing so to another website for which TotalTrip assumes no responsibility. We invite you to read the privacy statements of such sites, as the security policy of these sites may be completely different from that of TotalTrip. Of course, you will be solely responsible for keeping your passwords and totaltrip user account information secret. Please be very careful, responsible and alert to this information, especially when you are online.

In addition to the circumstances described above, TotalTrip may disclose the user's and/or traveler's information if requested under the law, with a court order, at the request of another government, or by a competent legal authority, or when it is in good faith that it is necessary to disclose it to, including without limitation, the protection of the rights or property of TotalTrip or its affiliated companies, or when we have reason to believe that disclosure of the information is necessary to identify, contact, or pursue legal action against someone who may be interfering with our rights or property, either intentionally or otherwise, or when someone else may be harmed with such activities. In addition, if TotalTrip or all of its properties, in significant amounts, are acquired by others, it is very likely that in relation to such acquisition, information about our customers will also need to be transferred.

This security policy will take effect from 28 April 2006. This Privacy Policy is likely to change or be supplemented from time to time. Any material changes made to the way TotalTrip uses personal information will be described in future versions of this Privacy Policy. Changes to the Privacy Policy will apply to information collected from the date we post the review to the Privacy Policy, as well as information that we already have. If we decide to change this Privacy Policy substantially, we will obtain any approval as required under applicable law, if we are to collect, use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those for which approval has been obtained, unless required, or otherwise permitted by law permitted.
